Marble’s products have been highly sought by serious sportsmen for more than a century. Webster Marble understood the needs of outdoorsmen and used innovative concepts and the best materials available to make sporting equipment that was both practical and durable.

Mr. Marble is widely credited with designing and producing the first knife made especially for hunting; an accomplishment that earned him the title “Father of the modern hunting knife”. His “safety” axe, created with a guard that folded in the handle, was both unique and efficient and is still being made and used today.

Marble’s “Classic Series” Sporting knives are made in the USA and feature four different standard handles in seven classical hunting knife blade patterns. The blades are quality American made 0170-6 high carbon chrome vanadium steel. The oiled leather “Safety Sheath” designed with a hard plastic insert insures your knife is both safe and protected.

We utilize the most modern CNC equipment to precision grind and polish our blades. Using premium brass guards and high-grade aluminum pommels we hand fit and finish every knife to exacting detail. A comprehensive final inspection then insures that your Marble’s knife reflects the quality workmanship and value that has made Marble’s products legendary for over 115 years. 

The “Safe Grip” Series, presented in three basic Marble’s patterns, features 420 high carbon stainless steel blades and a “Safe Grip” handle that insures a sure handed grip under the most arduous field condition. It comes complete with a heavy duty Cordura Sheath.

In 2005 Marble’s proudly introduced our line of internationally manufactured, superior quality, pocket knives and axes in a variety of traditional patterns. These products are made from the finest materials available to exacting Marble’s specifications. The knives   feature solid brass liners, nickel silver bolsters, and razor sharp, hand honed 440 stainless steel blades. The axes are made of quality hardwood handles with Forged High Carbon Heads.
