MARBLE'S Blade Steel Types
Marble’s® utilizes the highest quality components available to build our sporting cutlery. Our three distinctly different blade steel types are designed to offer hunters and outdoorsmen a clear choice based on personal preference and user requirements. Every Marble’s knife is expertly heat-treated, precision ground and hand honed to a superb edge.

The Classic Cutlery Series features 0170-6 Carbon steel, an excellent high carbon, chrome-vanadium alloy, that provides a 58C Rockwell hardness. This steel has proven to be a consistent performer since its introduction to the Marble’s line in June of 2002. Available in Marble’s Jigged Bone, Traditional Stacked Leather, and Golden Curly Oak handle styles, the Classic Series is consistently practical and traditionally appealing.

Our Safe-Grip Cutlery Series blade consist of high carbon 420 Stainless Steel and is designed for the user who prefers the convenience of a stainless blade. Tough and reliable this blade maintains a 54-56C Rockwell hardness. . Made of a high impact, composition material the handle is ergonomically designed for a safe and comfortable grip. Economical to own but reliable to use the Safe-Grip Series is fast becoming one of the most popular items in the Marble’s Outdoors lineup.

First introduced in 1892 by Webster Marble the "Safety Axe" comes in four traditional Marble's patterns.  The handles are solid wood and feature forged carbon heads for long lasting effective outdoor use.

Marble's internationally made  Pocket Knives blades are made of 440 High Carbon Stainless Steel and hand  honed to razor sharpness.
